What’s the craziest, sexiest and coolest film in town right
now? It’s the TLC Story!
In case you didn’t know, TLC stood for Tionne “T-Boz”
Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas. They were the one
who introduced 90′s music to a mixture of R&B, funk and what people called
“new jack swing” with their debut song “Ain’t to Proud to Beg.”
Crazy Sexy Cool is TLC’s second album made them the first
female group to receive a diamond status from the RIAA, selling over 22 million
copies after its by LaFace Records on November 15, 1994. “Creep,” “Waterfalls”
and “Red Light Special” were all singles from the Grammy Award winning album.

The album was ranked number 377 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500
greatest albums of all time. The album is also included in the book 1001 Albums
You Must Hear Before You Die and was, in 2008, listed as a "New
Classic" by Entertainment Weekly.
The title refers to the personalities of the members that
make up the group; "Left Eye" representing the "crazy",
"Chilli" being the "sexy", and "T-Boz" being the
"cool". Together, the three words make "CrazySexyCool".

CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story is an upcoming television biographical
film of course about the “greatest girl group of all time”. There can only be
one at the top and it’s definitely not Destiny’s Child! Why? They are an actual
GROUP; everyone got a chance to shine not just ONE person. Ahem… ahem…
The film stars Keke Palmer as Rozonda "Chilli"
Thomas, Drew Sidora as Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, and Lil' Mama as Lisa
"Left-Eye" Lopes. The film was directed by Charles Stone III and
written by Kate Lanier. Thomas and Watkins also served as executive producers
for the film. It will premiere on VH1 on October 21, 2013.
